| Celebrating its 50th anniversary, World Press Photo presents a major exhibition about the history of press photography in Foam, Amsterdam. The exhibition consists of120 items. They are reproductions of magazine pages, glass displays containing the original publications, vintage prints and various projections. All of these objects tell the story of photo journalism throughout the last 50 years. Pictures have been gathered from across the world: ensuring a truly global representation of its content. Besides large exhibitions showing the work of world famous photographers, FOAM also shows young talent and amateurs in smaller expositions. The exhibition lasts till 7 December 2005. |
